Hey, David. Humans are highly emotional creatures and it is easy to channel there energy in a specific direction, especially for charismatic leaders. Individuals might be reasonable, but masses rarely are. Sometimes the effects of such misdirections can be horrendous, but, unfortunately, that seems to be part of our nature.
